Middle Database Administrator

Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Middle Database Administrator to join the team. Here’s what you can expect in the role:
- Database sizing and space management, tuning, and diagnostics
- SQL Server database administration, configuration, load balancing, performance tuning, backup, and recovery
- Enhance existing monitoring tools configurations to predict system issues. React to alerts and resolve issues
- Deploying High availability solutions. Propose, deploy, support, and optimize
- Security management. Audit, optimize, propose, grant, revoke
- Incident management. Take responsibility, lead, resolve, analyze
- Design, implement, and support databases migrations between AWS and Azure
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years experience with SQL
- Proficiency in English (English language level not lower than Intermediate)
- Experience with running highly available databases such as RDS, Azure Flexible Server, Azure managed instances
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure
- Passion for resolving reliability issues and identifying strategies to mitigate going forward
